One of my favourite Christmas cakes are Sara Bernard πŸ₯°

Hi ❣ It’s so nice to see you,- like always 😊 I hope all is fine with you during this Christmas- time 🧑.

One of my #favourite Christmas cakes, or maybe I can call them #cookies,- are #SaraBernard πŸ₯°.

They take a bit time to make,- but are worth every second in the kitchen 😊.

I remember when I was married,- ages ago πŸ˜…,- I actually needed to hide this cookies for my ex- husband πŸ˜…. If not he did eat them all. He actually did one year,- eat them all long before Christmas evening πŸ˜….

So,- yes, – this Christmas cookies are just #marvellous 😍.

Like I mention, – you need to have some time to make this. You in away are making the cookies in three parts,- and it’s a bit important that each part are cold before you put them all together to Sara Bernard cookies 😊.

The #recipe for my Sara Bernard cookies are: (ca 15 pieces)

Part one:

200 gr almond

200 gr flour

about 3 egg whites

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

Toast and grind the almonds. Add the flour and egg whites. Everything blends well together. You can either make small cakes using a teaspoon on a baking sheet-covered oven plate, and press the cakes a little flat – or just pour the whole mixture over a baking-sheet-baked oven plate.

Bake the cake (s) at about 175 degrees for about 15 min.

Part 2:

100 g sugar

1 1/4 dl water 3-4 egg yolks

200 gr butter

2 tsp cocoa

1 tsp vanilla sugar

Boil sugar, vanilla sugar and water, cook until it thickens a bit. about 10 min. Whisk the egg yolks, add in the sugar mixture. Stir in cocoa, then add soft butter. Cool before spreading the cream mixture over the cooked almond paste. The almond cake must also be cooled.

Part 3:

150 grams of hot chocolate

2 tsp oil

1 tsp vanilla sucks.

Melt the chocolate added oil in a water bath. Cool slightly and place over the top of the almond cookies with the buttercream. Set the cookies to cool – and keep them cold.

#Enjoy πŸ₯°.

This cookies are just so #tasteful 😊. #Homemade #Norwegian #Christmas- cookies, – just try them,- and they will probably be one of your favourites too 😊.

It’s a bit of a calorie “bomb”,- but that’s the way I like it. Food with real taste- real food,- no “light” products 😊.

And as you probably know by know,- I like vanilla sugar too (and herbs and spices in my dinner as well) ,- you don’t need to have vanilla sugar in these cookies if you don’t want 😊. They will still be very, very tasteful πŸ₯°.

Good luck with the baking 😊. Enjoy this tasty, #delicious, Norwegian homemade Christmas cookies, – Sara Bernard πŸ₯°.

I wish you a great day or evening wherever in the world you are 🧑. Thank you so much for dropping by #my #blog today too 🧑.

See you soon 😊.
