Imagine someone wanted to steal the art I’ve made πŸ˜³πŸŽ¨

Hi ❣ It’s so nice to see you,- like always 😊 I hope all is fine with you 🧑

As some of you know I painted 25 glassbottles to my friend, Natasja and her husband’s cafe, Casa Barella/ La Cala/ Mijas 🎨. It was a kind of “Thank you so much for helping me out and renting me your holiday home ” gift πŸŒΉπŸ–πŸŽ.

It’s 12 cozy tables in the cafe, but they got more then 12 glassbottles. Just because it was difficult to stop painting and also then they had some extra in case a glassbottle or two should break.

Thing can happens as we all know.

Some of the glassbottles in Casa Barella I have painted and with flowers in….and theres also lights to the glassbottles if they want to use them on the tables in the evenings.

But I had never imagined that some of my glassbottles actually should be stolen…..not even from Case Barella 😳.

Natasja texted me one day this week and was so sad because someone actually had stolen one of the glassbottles in the cafe, even with the flowers in 😳.

I really do understand why she was sad, but I need to admit I actually started laughing a bit, because I had never imagined that someone would steal “my” art πŸ˜…. That a bottle or three would fall on the floor and break, yes, but stolen? Nope.

I know it was not nice to laugh, I know that,- but for me it felt a bit “surreal” that someone actually liked my art so much that they wanted to steal it 😳. And I have also told her that I can paint a new one to her, I just need to know what kind of bottle it was. It would never be identical with the one she lost, but at least a bit similar.

This bottles are “one of a kind” and its “handmade” except from the fact that I haven’t made to bottle, just the illustrations at the bottles,- and that’s the way it is, so it will be difficult for me to make a new identical one, but similar I will manage to do 🎨.

I think it’s sad that people do things like this,- steal. And in their own way also “destroy” something for someone else with their act. It’s rude too πŸ˜”. But in general it’s something called “What comes around, goes around”,– so it’s not sure the thieves would have the same joy of this glassbottle they stole as they maybe think. And an other thing,- they could even asked Natasja if they could buy one or if I had the possibility to paint one for them. Instead they made them self to thieves actually for a painted glassbottle πŸ€”

On the other hand,- if I choose to look at “the bright side” of this situation, my bright side, not Natasja’s, my art is so sweet or cool, or nice or maybe even so special it’s worth to steal it😊. But I really hope people just ask me if I can paint a bottle or two for them instead of stealing gifts from others. Because this was a personal gift to Natasja and her husband from me 🎁. Personal, but still to use in their cafe.

But okay,- that’s life, isn’t it?

I wish you a great day or evening wherever in the world you are 🧑 Thank you so much for using your time and dropping by my blog today 🧑

See you soon 😊

From cafe Casa Barella in La Cala/ Mijas, – an the tables are ready for guests with painted glassbottles and flowers 🎨🌹.

I had never imagined that my art should be so “popular” that it was worth to steal πŸ˜…….even directly from the table 😳. But that did actually happen one of this days in Casa Barella/ La Cala/ Mijas πŸ˜”. What I do reccomend you to do at the tables in Casa Barella is to enjoy a delicious meal or two together with some tasty drinks, and then just enjoy the painted glassbottles on the tables together with the cozy atmosphere in the cafe πŸ₯°.
